Cloud Sleeves

Description

Detachable off-shoulder tulle sleeves for a corset wedding dress

Cloud Sleeves add a soft off-shoulder moment to any corset wedding dress or corset top. Made from ultra-soft ivory elastic tulle, cut from the fabric left over from our gowns, they wrap gently around the bust and upper arms for light volume and movement without structure or stiffness.

Pull them on and tuck them under the corset, and they stay in place with no buttons, hooks or alterations. Use them to soften a structured gown for the ceremony, then take them off for a different look at the reception. They work with most corset silhouettes, from basque-waist gowns to lace-up backs and boned bodices, and the elastic tulle stretches to fit your shape.

Bridal Q&A

How much time do I need before the dress is shipped?

Made-to-Order Gowns
Your gown is made for you once we have your measurements, and it is ready to ship within 3 months of the day we receive and confirm them. Delivery takes 5 days to 3 weeks on top of that, so we suggest ordering around five or six months before your wedding to feel relaxed about it.

Ready-to-Wear Gowns
Ready-to-Wear dresses ship within 4 weeks of receiving your measurements, which gives us time to check your size and move the dress between our warehouses if needed. Delivery time is extra. If your wedding is close, write to us before you order and we'll tell you honestly what's possible.

What should I do if I'm losing or gaining weight before the wedding?

Most of our designs use lacing or elastic, so they can move with you by up to about two sizes, depending on the style. If you expect your measurements to change, let us know before you send them: when your wedding date allows, we can hold production and work from your updated measurements instead. And if you'd like the fit closer on the day, a local bridal seamstress can take it in easily, our patterns are drawn with that in mind.

When should I provide my measurements?

After you place your order, we'll email you our measurement guide with simple instructions. If you can, have them taken by a bridal seamstress or a tailor, it makes a real difference. Your dispatch time starts from the day we receive your measurements, so the sooner you send them, the sooner your dress is on its way.

Do you offer plus-size options?

Yes, we absolutely do! We make regular and plus sizes, from S all the way to 11XL depending on the design. For sizes 5XL to 11XL, just write to us before ordering so we can confirm your chosen dress can be made in your size.

I am not sure if the dress silhouette fits me.

We'd love to help you decide. Send us a photo of the dress you have your eye on and tell us a little about yourself, and we'll help you see whether it's the right one for you. We've worked with so many different figures and silhouettes, and we're always happy to help.

Can you handle last-minute weddings with rush orders?

We understand that sometimes weddings happen sooner than expected. Depending on our tailors' availability, we may be able to take a rush order, with a rush fee of $250. Please write to us before placing your order so we can confirm it and tell you the new dispatch date. A rush shortens production, not delivery, so if your wedding is less than two months away, get in touch first.

Can I request customizations for my dress?

Every Made-to-Order gown already has its skirt length cut to your measurements. Some of our designs can be customized too: if you feel you need a change, write to us before ordering and we'll confirm whether it's possible, along with the price and timing.

For a dress designed just for you, reach out to our stylist before ordering. We'll look at your idea and confirm the price, the details and the timing before we begin bespoke production.

Are orders refundable?

Ready-to-Wear Dresses
Not sure it's the one? Your dress arrives with a returns seal that lets you try it on at home. If it isn't right, email us within 72 hours of delivery with the seal still in place, and we'll arrange an exchange or a refund. Return shipping and a 5% restocking fee apply to change-of-mind refunds.

Made-to-Order Gowns, Veils, Capes, Robes and Slips
Made-to-Order gowns are cut to your measurements, and veils, capes, robes and slips arrive sealed in a hygiene bag, so these are final sale. We check every piece before it leaves our studio, and if something arrives faulty, we'll put it right.

Worried about the size? Our dresses are designed to be bought online. Each one has a corset with lacing, an elastic waist or a relaxed fit, so it sits beautifully on you. If you'd like a small adjustment, a local seamstress can easily help.

Still unsure? Write to stylist@ephemerisbridal.com before you order, we're happy to help. You'll find everything in our full Returns & Exchanges Policy.

I want a veil, but I'm not sure which one will match my dress.

Tell us which gown you're wearing and we'll help you choose the veil and length that suit it. If you'd like to see the colour against your dress first, order our fabric swatch set, it ships free worldwide. Just check that it includes the fabric of the veil you have in mind.
