A New Zealand elopement is mostly decided by where you stand. In Queenstown and Wanaka that often means a mountain ridge, in Fiordland a shoreline below steep green walls, and around Lake Tekapo a very dark sky.
We design in the Aoraki Mackenzie dark sky reserve, so the last of these is close to home. If you are staying out after sunset, bring something that answers the light. Our star veils and capes are scattered with reflective stars that catch a lantern, a candle or a camera flash, and they suit the blue hour by a glacier lake as well as they suit a dinner table.

Orion is the easiest place to start. It is a loose star kimono in soft ivory tulle that goes on over any dress and packs light for a flight, a walk or a helicopter. Milky Way, our 3 metre (118 inch) star veil, is the one for wide landscapes. The Lunar Eclipse cape is shorter at the front and longer at the back, and it sits over any gown when you would rather wear nothing in your hair.

Everything here is in stock in New Zealand. Write to stylist@ephemerisbridal.com with your date and your location and we will help you choose.
